NATTA Gandaki Province has completed a one day hike to Begnaskot in order to highlight and promote this hiking trail on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2021. The hike started from Mohoriya — Syangkhudi — Golthepani — Begnaskot — Majhikuna. Begnas lake has been an equally important tourism destination of Pokhara, but it doesn’t get as many visitors as the others and the surrounding area hasn’t been explored much by the tourists, president Sanjaya Kant Sigdel believes that these alternative options should also be promoted equally.

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, NATTA Gandaki province leaded a group of 40 different tourism entrepreneurs and stakeholders to the hike. NATTA Gandaki is humbled to be welcomed by the locals of the region including Begnaskot Bhairav Area Development Commitee, Kothbari Mothers group, Indreni Mothers group. The chairman of the ward 31, Mr. Kamal Bahadur Thapa expressed gratitude on the support of the locals on their efforts of promoting the place. A local social worker, Shree Ram Kandel expressed his views on the overlooking of the region, but expressed happiness on the interests shown by state level tourism entrepreneurs of Gandaki Province.
